Our last day in Phuket

Rising early and letting Elena sleep I managed to catch up on a little blogging and spend time chatting to a friend who’s travelling through New Zealand.

With no set plans I joked about maybe seeing a ladyboy show as at this point we’ve yet to take in a show of any kind, we tend to prefer to just wander the many beaches and frequent the many local street vendors and sample their cuisine.

Bang Tao Beach Phuket

I guess after 21 countries you do get past the souvineer hunting stage, but every now and then there is something that you have pangs of “I want to buy”.
It’s good that we packed light and with very little space to spare.

After formatting the micro SD card for our GoPro camera and somehow buggering up the chance up using it again we had to find a computer store at the Central Festival Shopping Centre. At half the price as home I didn’t mind forking over the cash.
Now at least we’ll be able to record some of our up coming motorbike ride in Chiang Mai.

Samkong Place - Phuket

After a quick change back at Samkong Place we were dressed to find the Beach. Elena wanted us to find Bang Tao Bay but in confusion and a little getting lost we were back to NaiThon, our personal favorite. It seem fitting to be here and just let the day just consume us while we consumed the local fare of fresh bananas, crab claws and BBQ corn.

Big-Buddha-Phuket

Yup I’m real sure that I was cut out to be a traveller, and hopefully a reasonable blogger….
