South America

South America has so much to offer, from the jungles of the Amazon to the high deserts of Bolivia, the Beaches of Brazil to the gateway to Antarctica in Ushua. It’s a continent that captivates your kindred sprit and ignites a flame for places yet undiscovered.

Our 2 1/2 month overland journey in 2015 has us just longing to get back.

Peru

With so many great well known land marks in the United States it’s hard to know where to start. GTC Adventures will only promote the States we’ve been so The USA is currently offers California (coming soon New York and Texas)

Bolivia

There really is only one word to describe Bolivia…. “Otherworldly” Several others would be Breathtaking, beautiful and magical. From hight mountain deserts to Amazonian forests Bolivia is a goldmine for the traveler who wants the challenges that come with a track that is rugged and real.

Cuba

Communism, Missile Crisis, Castro…. All we seem to hear from the media is that Cuba is bad, dangerous and that they once threatened the world with nuclear war! …. Yes I’m still talking about Cuba. But time has moved on and Cuba is a place that you just have to visit. From it’s old cars and 1920 buildings Cuba is caught in a time warp that sweaps you back 50 years. When we visited in 2015 Cubano’s had just got the internet! Our advice go now… Visit the Cigar capital of the world in Vinales, experience the town of Trinidad and stay with locals in a Casa in Havana. Let us take you to the April sun in Cuba

Colombia

Long gone are the gun toting gangs and Pablo Escobar, Colombia is fast becoming the destination in central America. From innovative award winning cities like Medellin to the quaint towns of Guatape  Colombia can deliver the good when it comes to hospitality. Imagine sitting in a Volcano (yes you read that right) or just chilling out on the beaches in Cartagena. Colombia should be on your travel list for your next destination.

Chile

Our first taste of South America and one that left a good taste in our mouths. Sadly we didn’t get to travel south of the nations capital, but we did get to travel through the driest place on earth, the Atacama Desert.
