It seems to be one of the fastest growing tourist industries in Asia, with its pricing so much cheaper than the western world we thought we would look deeper into the trend.
We’ve all seen the tabloid TV programs that show the horrible disfigured breast implants, I’m so thankful that Elena didn’t book me in for this, no I’m going for Dental Surgery.
Research is something that you must do, arriving into Phuket a small but well known tourist hotspot on southern shores of Thailand. I soon discovered there are Cosmetic and Dental Surgeries on every corner.
After many hours of reading feedback and forums we settled on using a larger and more recognized institution to carry out the procedures that I needed done.

I could have gone to a cheaper place but I wanted the piece of mind that came with using a hospital.
Bangkok Hospital in Phuket has a specialist dedicated term of expert cosmetic and atheistic surgeons that are internationally trained and choosing a dentist via their staff personal files online I soon had a specialist set to my needs.

With a couple of emails and the release of my dental records to the IT department of Bangkok Hospital I was booked in and an itinerary of scheduled appointments was set.
There was one email that asked for a deposit, I chose to ignore it and instead phoned the hospital at my own discretion, just to make sure all was on the level and I was assured that all was ready and waiting for me when I arrived in Thailand.
Like I do with any tradesman, I never pay until I see the results I want.
The hotel we chose was via suggestions form the hospital website and found Samkong Place to be a perfect spot, located within walking distance of the hospital.
Talking with a couple of ladies from Malta who had also come for cosmetic surgery they found the practices and professionalism of the hospital awesome.

Over the next 3 weeks it wasn’t uncommon to see us all sitting around the breakfast area, tea and toast. With breasts and noses in bandages as we all revived before our next session.

No one looked in pain, in fact everyone seemed to be enjoying their new selves.
It suddenly hit me how easy it would’ve been to become an addict of cosmetic surgery. With the procedures becoming more affordable and less painful, I now have no fear of ever going to a dentist and with recent knee surgery I know that anaesthetic works wonders.
To anyone considering cosmetic or dental surgery in Phuket and wanting more information we are here to answer any questions that we can.

Be beautiful, but only to yourself…
